もうしわけないIN得三いろんな意味で衝撃な感もあるライヴでしたよ面白かったからついつい夜更かしなんで、取急ぎ変更したメアドをこっちも就寝時間早くなってて、んでドビュッシーにしてもスクリャービンにしても一番好きな曲はCDの最後に入っているので聴けずじまいだったりします。

昨日、得三で「申し訳ない」のライブを見ました。うるさめのバンドと思ったら、ちゃんと「曲」やってて意外でした。どうなるんだろう？という期待感、それと選曲の予想のつかなさ加減にいろんな意味で楽しめたライブでした。それに来月もやるらしい！すごい。

＞リヨ様おつでした。とゆうことは吹かなかった曲は敢えて吹かなかったの？たしか「ツイスト＆シャウト」は吹いてなくなかった？あとあの最近のヒット曲、なんつったか女の人が歌ってる、、、あれも吹いてなかった。とにかく選曲はバラエティに富んでたね。ライブは不思議だった。。。

申し訳ない、という名前のバンドそしてガイさんが絡むと聞けばガイ画伯が描く漫画のような世界のフリーミュージックという予想をしていた。少なくとも去年行ったサンライズ・サンセット・ロッテンマイヤーのようなバンドだと。しかしライブ前セッティングの時点で電子ピアノやアコースティックギターが置かれ、なにやらいつもと違う雰囲気なのでもう一つバンドが出るのか、とさえ思われた。演奏が始まると非常にジャズ色が濃い、というかジャズだ。しかもアンサンブルしているのだ。各自がソロを弾いたり、テーマ部をみんなが合わせる、といった普通なら当たり前の事がこのメンバーで行われているのが驚きだった。グリーンスリーブスや至上の愛、果てはラ・バンバまで出てきてしまい全体的にリラックスした演奏の中、メロディーを弾くかと思えば骨折したようなフレーズを弾くガイ、アコースティックギターで切り込むスティーブンは予想以上にジャズマンしていた。まだまとまりに欠ける点はあるものの、マッタリしているようでいて不思議な異物感のような幻覚感のような、なんともいえない感じがあり、ジャズのふりをしたサイケなのではないだろうか、という思いを抱いた。このバンドがどこへ向かっていくのか分からないまま一時間程の演奏を聴きなんとなく阿部公房の｢人間そっくり｣を思いだした。ジャズバンドのようで何か違う、しかし何が違うのかも分からないしそもそも何なら合っているというのか？このバンドは私に疑問を投げかけているように思えてならない。案外｢単にジャズやりたかったんだよ｣とシレっと語るかもしれないが、、、

He and Mr.F had a few good laughs whiile Mr.S was spinning, though
The Moshi Wake Nai band played thier second show, this time at Imaike's Tokuzo nightclub. There were a surprising number of friends on hand and a few fans from the first show at the Nishi-ku jazz bar, 'Mokkin Pot,' on December 24th. Maybe it was the Christmas Cake that brought them back...
'Moshi Wake Nai,' means something like, 'Terribly sorry, but there's nothing we can do about it.'
It was a kind of meandering, but somehow relaxing set. Original Sawaki numbers were mixed with standards such as 'Greensleeves,' and 'A Love Supreme' as well as the well known rock number, 'La Bamba,' or was that 'Twist and Shout?' No, wait, it was 'Good Lovin',' well, you get the picture. Moshi Wake Nai, they even played a Grateful Dead number. The sextet has kind of a double trio feel with the piano, bass and drums in the mellow trio and the two guitars and the alto sax in the free trio. I'm looking forward to the group's next performance at the Nagoya jazz club, 'Swing,' on March 27th with two special guests Wada Nao ( master of Swing and renowned Japanese jazz guitarist) and Morita Yu (master of Tokuzo and vocalist in the local R&B group, 'Volleyballs').
It should be a moving night with memories of recently departed Mo-Q (alto saxophonist for Volleyballs, Guy Unit, Sunrise Sunset and many others) still in our thoughts. We wish his soul a vast and endless free. May incredible beauty grow from the material world he has left behind.

		Canolfanのイベント　投稿者：創造主＝サトル＝クララの中の人 HP: http://www.psycho-sexy.com/ 投稿日： 2月10日(木)15時50分26秒 ”冬のソノタ”を観にいった。出演者は８名トランプのカードに対応したキーワードが決められており観客が好きなカードを選ぶ。もちろん出演者はキーワードを知らない。しかも８人がくじ引きのように番号の書かれたカードを引き、同じ番号の者同士が即席のユニットとなる。要するに１～４の番号が２枚ずつあり、二人組の４ユニットができるわけだ。それぞれのユニットがキーワードのにそって演奏、それからキーワードの引き直し、ユニットの組み替え、これを計５回繰り返した。３回目以降はキーワードがふたつになる、という仕組みも面白かった。それぞれがキーワードからのイメージを共有しつつ合わせる場合もあれば、まったく違ったイメージをもったまま、音がぶつかりあうようにできあがるパターンもみられた。ちなみに各即席ユニットの持ち時間は２分、これは結構絶妙な時間で、少し物足りないかと思わせつつ、飽きさせないという設定だったと思う。終了の合図であるキッチンタイマーが鳴ると、次のユニットがセッティング。その間に演奏を終えた者と主催者である平尾氏の淡々としたコメントが入る。クスクスとした笑い、ときには爆笑と、なんだかこれも演奏の続きのようだった。平尾氏は”音楽イベント”を強調しておられたが、パフォーマンス的側面も多いにあり、聴くだけでなく、観る楽しみも非常に大きかったと思う。そういった意味で最も個性を発揮し、いきいきと楽しそうに演奏、パフォーマンスを繰り広げたピアノ奏者、菅原氏が最優秀演奏者に選ばれ、主催者の平尾氏より、豪華カラオケテープセットが贈呈された。そのとき出されたキーワードは次のとおり。 1.”おはようからおやすみまで” 2.”子供の頃に一番怖かった思い出” 3.”愛・地球博＋貯金１０００円” 4.”ダメ人間＋無音” 5.”カジュアル＋スタジオジブリ” 出演者 kei (ex Ett, Guiro): guitar Mr.S (ex. The eight participants each drew a card about the size of a name-card. A single number was printed on each card. The numbers ranged from 1 - 4. The two participants who drew the '1' cards formed a duo and performed first, followed by the #2 duo and so on. A random card was then drawn by an audience member to determine the 'keyword,' or theme of each round. After all four duos had finished the next round began in the same manner as the first. Each duo was limited to two minutes of stage time followed by a brief commentary/ question and answer segment hosted by the event sponsor, Mr. Hirao. The two minutes of play was a very nice number Just long enough to develop something, but not long enough to become boring. The intrusion of the kitchen timer made for a comedic ending to each performance and served to lighten the mood of what would otherwise have been a somber occasion. The performances went beyond musicanship, entering into the abstract and music concrete arena with dramatic flair.All of the small audience stayed through both sets and seemed to enjoy the comeraderie between the musicians. Thanks to 'Freek Out No Ettchan' for drawing in one fan I think he came for her more than the music. He and Mr.F had a few good laughs whiile Mr.S was spinning, though The Moshi Wake Nai band played thier second show, this time at Imaike's Tokuzo nightclub. There were a surprising number of friends on hand and a few fans from the first show at the Nishi-ku jazz bar, 'Mokkin Pot,' on December 24th. Maybe it was the Christmas Cake that brought them back... 'Moshi Wake Nai,' means something like, 'Terribly sorry, but there's nothing we can do about it.' It was a kind of meandering, but somehow relaxing set. Original Sawaki numbers were mixed with standards such as 'Greensleeves,' and 'A Love Supreme' as well as the well known rock number, 'La Bamba,' or was that 'Twist and Shout?' No, wait, it was 'Good Lovin',' well, you get the picture. Moshi Wake Nai, they even played a Grateful Dead number. The sextet has kind of a double trio feel with the piano, bass and drums in the mellow trio and the two guitars and the alto sax in the free trio. I'm looking forward to the group's next performance at the Nagoya jazz club, 'Swing,' on March 27th with two special guests Wada Nao ( master of Swing and renowned Japanese jazz guitarist) and Morita Yu (master of Tokuzo and vocalist in the local R&B group, 'Volleyballs'). It should be a moving night with memories of recently departed Mo-Q (alto saxophonist for Volleyballs, Guy Unit, Sunrise Sunset and many others) still in our thoughts.
