As expected, I was the first to arrive. When I showed up around 18:00, there was no one around so I went to Osho and ate gyoza and white rice after which I came back to find DJ etc... 1 watching the shutter being raised on the front door. By sound-checking the equipment I became the top-batter by default, spinning from about 18:45 through to 20:00. The set was intentionally nostalgic, but I remembered the advice of a wise and successful DJ who once told me before a gig,
Stick with what ya know, kid.Those words nearly governed the set. Mixing in the new Boredoms and Yoshimi tracks was irresistible, but that was mainly before the party really got started and I was learning the rig. |

かなり懐かしい曲が多かったけど、そのつもりだった。あと、昔のパーティーの前に、いとも盛り上がるDJはとても大事なことを教えってくれた。「君、しっかり、詳しいやつをかけようよ」。だいたいとの通りだったけど、やっぱ、ボアダムズとヨシミの新作をかきたがりだった。それは、ほとんど、機材チェックのあいだだったんだが。 |

The crazy thing was that if I had time left over I was going to play a track by Nisennnenmondai from their 2008 KD Japon show. I didn't have time, but DJ etc... 1, who followed, played the exact album track that I would have played... frightening.
以心伝心which is pronounced, /eesheen densheen/ and spelled Ishin Denshin. It's an old way of saying, 'telepathy', but could be a relative equivalent to, You read my mindor other such phrases. The rest of the night was dotted with old favourites, but a lot of stuff that was totally off my radar. I kept my feet moving as much as possible, but without cab fare, elected to catch the last train home during DJ Yamadarling's set. I'd had more than my share of exercise for the evening despite being only a half-hour walk from home. A few stand-out tracks from the other DJs include: Party at Ground Zero by Fishbone, 裸の王様 (Hadaka No Osama) by Jagatara, Rock the Casbah by The Clash, Let Me Stand Next To Your Fire by The Jimi Hendrix Experience and another INU track, which I didn't know. |
最後に、時間があまっていたら、去年のKDハポンライブで録音したにせんねんもんだいの曲をかけようと思ったけど、次、DJ etc... 1が一曲目はにせんねんもんだいと言われたときに、辞めおいた。結局、まったく同じ曲だった。（スタジオバージョン）。びっくりした〜。この話しはDJキモノマイハウスと話したら、「以心伝心」ということわざを教えってくれた。ありがとう！ それから、いろんな昔から好きな曲もあったけど、かなりしらない世界の音楽が多かった。それでも、足をずっと動かせた。最終的に、タクシー代がなくて、足が痛くて、DJ Yamadarlingがやっている間に終電で帰ってしまった。家まで、３０分しか歩いてかからないけど、踊りで、本日、運動が十分だった。（笑） とくに思い出す曲は隣さらに書いてあるので、もう一回書かない。 |
